I wrote this some years ago for a friend and only found the copy the other day.  I thought it would be nice to put on my website as the year is coming to a close and I will certainly use it myself on New Years Eve.

House Blessing

I cast this circle around this home - where time itself parts

In a place that is not a place

In a time that is not a time

The circle is cast Forever and a Day.

I call upon the Lords of the Watchtowers of the North

The Spirits of the Stones and the Earth

The Trees, Gnomes, Dryads, all ye of the Fairy Realm

To stand fast these walls

To protect this place and all that dwell within

Forever and a Day.

I call upon the Lords of the Watchtowers of the East

The Spirits of the Air

The Birds, Butterflies, all Flying Creatures

 To keep the air ever sweet with fragrance fresh

To protect this place and all that dwell within

Forever and a Day.

I call upon the Lords of the Watchtowers of the South

The Spirits of Fire

Mighty Dragons, Spirits of the Volcanoes

To keep this dwelling ever warm and vibrant

To protect this place and all that dwell within

Forever and a Day.

I call upon the Lords of the Watchtowers of the West

The Spirits of Water

All the Creatures that live in the Waters

The Moon that Rules the Tides of the Earth

To keep this place ever fertile and wanting for nothing

To protect this place and all that dwell within

Forever and a Day.

I call upon The Lady

To send her love and protection

To hold this place and all that dwell within

In her ever loving arms, close to her heart
